Hi,
Seems a while since I've posted for a film, anyway The Book of Eli was one I caught at the end of last week.
Directed by the Hughes Brother and starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldham, I wasn't really sure where this film was going or where it would end up. But in the end i quite enjoyed it. Washington was good, Oldman was ok and the rest of the cast did enough. The script was good, the music was very good and the action pretty good.
As you might have guessed it was good! (7/10)
Not sure what to expect from this film. Denzel is always good even if the quality of the film is low. I'm happy to say this was well above that. On the whole it was a road movie except on foot. The story centred on a book and it's potential. When you realise no religion exists in society or belief system on the origins of man then it's impact is quite significant. Oh and a nice sixth sense style twist gives it a well above average mark 7/10.
